It is so easy to get wrapped up in the craziness of everyday life and have little to no time for yourself. We get so consumed with work, school, kids, cooking cleaning, you name it, and lets all be clear, it is HARD being an adult. No need to stress, I am here to help you put some clarity back in your life and give you three ways that will help put yourself first.

You’re probably telling yourself, “What time?” Stop making excuses and make the time for yourself.  Set aside time to quiet the mind. Taking a couple of deep breathes in and out will allow you to clear your mind and shut out all the noise. You will be surprised what 5 minutes will do for you and how energized you will feel after. It is so important to take care of your mental health. 

 
Stop saying, “Yes” and start saying, “No.”

As humans, we naturally want to be liked, or accepted by any and every one. We want to be that person that people can count on. Well who do you count on? The answer should be yourself because no one truly knows how you feel, but you. It is ok to say no to people at times. This is how you start gaining control of decisions in your life rather than decisions controlling you. 


Let yourself rest.

We can only go so far without rest before we are on empty. So call in and take the time to rest your mind and body. The work will be there when you get back but a least you will feel refreshed. Put yourself first as a priority and REST!
